All orders are shipped first class via United States Postal Service. All orders are shipped out in a timely manner. With the exception of Sundays and holidays, all orders of already made items will be placed in the mail within 24 hours of your order. Items that need to be made will be mailed in 1-3 days from the date of your order.  Please read the product description for details on if the item is being made to order. Made by Meg covers all standard shipping fees within the United States. There is no minimum purchase to receive free shipping. All orders are shipped from Myrtle Beach, SC. North Carolina and South Carolina orders normally arrive the next working day, east coast orders normally arrive within 3 working days and all other US locations take around 5 days. These are estimates based on my experience, but are not guaranteed. If rush delivery is needed please, contact me to inquire about pricing before you purchase.

You will receive your order in a bubble lined envelope. Each piece of jewelry will be safely protected in a cotton filled crush-proof box. The box is nicely packaged and is ready to be given as a gift or opened by you.  Paperwork about the price paid is not included.

Posters are rolled and sent in a crush-proof mailing tube.

Made By Meg is happy to ship gifts directly to the recipient. Prices are never included in any paperwork in the package or displayed on any tags. In the checkout information, please put the recipient’s information in the “ship to” location. If you would like a brief note included, please write it in the notes box at check out and it will be handwritten and included at no additional charge.  *For engagement rings please see your written quote and the engagement ring section for more information on shipping

Orders outside the US and US territories will have an additional shipping charge.  The shipping charge is strictly for shipping, it does NOT include customs fees or import tax.  If your country charges fees to you on arrival, these are your responsibility.  If you refuse a shipment because of customs fees and it is sent back, you will be refunded for the cost of the item(s) only, but not the shipping charge.


Your satisfaction is of the upmost priority. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, Made By Meg accepts returns or exchanges on unworn and undamaged products within 60 days of purchase. Made By Meg is not responsible for return shipping. Once the merchandise is received back, in the original crush-proof boxes, credit will be given in the same form as the payment was received. Returns and exchanges should be mailed back in the same box and a protected bubble mailer. Please contact me right away, if you are not happy with your purchase. Special orders and engagement rings are considered final sales and returns or exchanges will not be accepted.


Payments can be made online via Stripe’s payment gateway.  Stripe is a highly respectable payment provider that offers high encryption with PCI Service Provider Level 1.  Credit card information is directly handled securely by Stripe and Made By Meg does not collect any credit card information.  Made By Meg cannot accept payments over the phone. If you are more comfortable paying by check, Made by Meg gladly accepts check payments. Please contact Meg with the items you would like to purchase. Those pieces will be taken off the website and held until payment is made in a timely manner. Once your check is cleared, your order will be shipped.  Payment for wholesale orders is handled differently.  Engagement rings and special orders, please refer to your contract and the engagement ring section for more information on payments.


In the event that you find your jewelry to be faulty, Made By Meg is happy to make repairs as a result of craftsmanship or design. However, normal wear and tear should be expected on your jewelry.  Damage caused by carelessness like dropping, or losing your jewelry is not included under this warranty.  For engagement rings please see your contract and the engagement ring section for warranty information.


Caring for your Sea Glass Jewelry

Extra care should be taken with cleaning your sea glass jewelry. Occasionally or after each wear you should use a silver polishing cloth gently on the surface of the sterling silver to keep its shine. For a stronger cleaning of the glass and silver I recommend using a mild dish soap and warm water. You can gently scrub the glass and silver with a toothbrush. To avoid excessive tarnishing, wear your silver jewelry frequently. The oils in your skin act as a natural cleanser for silver. When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in an air tight container or bag. Using a bag or jewelry box lined with silver cloth is also good for storing silver jewelry.  Moisture removal packages, like the ones found in new shoes, are great to add to your jewelry box to slow the tarnishing process.

If you prefer to have a glossy look to your darker colored sea glass pieces, use your fingers to rub a small amount of oil on the surface of the cleaned glass. This can be done using baby oil or mineral oils. After time, this will fade, but can be reapplied as desired. Without oil most dark colored sea glass will have a frosted whitish look.

When wearing or caring for your sea glass jewelry, use extra care and remember it is glass. If dropped on a hard surface it can crack, chip, or break. Returns cannot be made for tarnished silver or broken glass.
