Taking Pictures in a Mirror

I am here today for a bit of advice.

I don’t know if it is just me being pregnant that I am noticing more pregnant women or if it just seems to be “in the water” as “they” say.

Who are “they” anyway?

and why do “they” say the things “they” say?

I digress, back to my point.

With all of these pregnant woman I have seen lots of pictures in mirrors.

I have developed a pet peeve about these pictures.

In most of them, the Mama to be looks like she is looking out into la la land.

Although she might be in la la land and I can understand that.  I can give you an easy fix.

Here is my words of advice, 4 of them to be exact.

Look at the camera!!!!

When you are taking pictures in a mirror look at the camera in the mirror.

Let me show you the difference.

La La land Meg at 31 weeks…

pregnancy 31-weeksAnd now me at 31 weeks not looking like a loony toon…

31-weeks pregnancyNow that I have got that tip out into blog world, please implement whenever taking a picture in a mirror.

Oh and while we are at it never use a flash in a mirror either.

It will end up looking like you were hit in the head with a fire ball.

Look at all the flowers I saved yesterday at Lowes in the clearence rack!!!

saved-flowersNow we just need to find homes for them in the garden.

On another note.

I am doing well and Baby Girl Carter is doing well too!

We can’t believe we have only single digit weeks left!

The nursery is coming along, I will be posting about it soon.

Have a great rest of the week.

Today I am thankful for: My very supportive husband  and sister that made it possible for Made By Meg to be a part of Brookgreen Gardens art show this past weekend.  I can’t thank you both enough. :)

Meg, you’re looking great!! I can’t believe you’re at 31 weeks already. Did you accidentally use a flash the first time trying out those pictures? Just wondering since you know you would look like you were hit in the head with a fireball. :) Hope you’re feeling great!

You look beautiful! I just wanted to thank you for the lovely pendants that arrived for my Mom and I. She finally arrived back from her vacation and I gave it to her as her Mother’s Day gift from me. I explained the story behind it and she loved it.

Just know that we appreciate everything that you did to make these and when we wear our jewelry, we will think of each other.

Enjoy the last weeks of your pregnancy!
