When you take 1829 pictures at a wedding you are bound to get a few good ones. Over this past weekend, two of my good friends, Andrew and Amy, were married here in Myrtle Beach at Pine Lakes Country Club. It was a sweet southern style wedding complete with shrimp and grits. It was such a treat for me to be able to capture their day for them. Andrew and Amy being quite the photographers themselves, I knew they would be happy to let me capture their day from a friend’s perspective. They had already hired the very talented Brent and Amanda Holloman from Millie Holloman Photography. When Jon and I were married 3 years ago we also used MHP (Millie and Rachel photographed our wedding) and it was nice to meet two others from the MHP crew. Thanks Brent and Amanda for letting me stay on the sidelines during the wedding festivities to get in more experience with Niko. I had so many photos that I liked it was hard to narrow it down, but here are a few I would like to share with you…
When you have a bride this pretty how can you get a bad picture?
Do you spy where the pinwheels ended up?
One very sentimental part of the wedding was in memory of Amy’s dad. He was a farmer of cotton, which all of the men wore as boutineer and Amy’s bouquet was filled with poofs of cotton. Such a sweet touch.
Andrew and Amy I can’t tell you how happy I am for you both, congratulations.
Today I am thankful for: Sun made sweet tea… how I love thee. :)
